Take A Look At Hegarmanah: Our Modeling Block Using Japanese Cultivation Method

At the core of our mission is a steadfast commitment to sustainable and efficient tea cultivation. This commitment finds its embodiment in Hegarmanah, our dedicated tea modeling block. Hegarmanah stands as a testament to the meticulous Japanese method of cultivation—a time-honored approach to sustainability, ensuring both exceptional quality and longevity in tea production.

The Japanese cultivation method revolves around a delicate yet purposeful process of leaf selection. Only the top three leaves of each tea plant are carefully picked, leaving the two lower leaves intact. These reserved leaves act as a natural recovery mechanism for the plant, allowing it to restore its strength and maintain its vitality for future harvests. This thoughtful practice not only promotes healthier plants but also creates a foundation for consistent, high-quality yields over time.

The harvesting cycle at Hegarmanah is equally methodical and precise by observing buds. Harvesting only conducted when the buds are mature enough to be picked, usually five times each year, ensuring a steady rhythm of production. Before each harvest, thorough weeding is conducted to create optimal growing conditions. After the harvest, fertilization is applied to replenish the soil and support the plants’ continued growth.

Every two years, a process of light pruning is carried out to encourage new shoots and maintain the plant’s structural integrity. Additionally, our pest management practices are carefully implemented to protect the tea plants without compromising the natural ecosystem. This holistic approach results in better quality and quantity of yield, weighing more than 2 grams per stem. It is much more than just a productive plantation—it fosters a thriving, self-sustaining environment where tea plants flourish season after season.

Ultimately, Hegarmanah is more than a tea modeling block; it is a symbol of our dedication to innovation and care. Each cup of tea produced from the plantation carries the rich heritage of Japanese cultivation techniques, enhanced by our unwavering focus on quality and the environment. With Hegarmanah, we offer tea that is not only rich in taste but also a reflection of our values—respect for the land, commitment to sustainability, and a passion for creating something extraordinary.
