Our Customer’s Visit to Ciater Tea Plantation

Our loyal customer made a visit to Ciater tea plantation in September 2023. Our customer is a multinational company that has been continuously using our products, with its market spreads across the globe. The visit began on the afternoon of September 5th, with a warm welcome for the representatives at the manager’s official residence. During this gathering, we introduced the Ciater Plantation, the Hegarmanah block model, and the cooperation agreement with PTPN I Regional 2 (formerly PTPN VIII). After a pleasant conclusion to the gathering, the activities for the day came to an end.

The next day, on September 6th, the visit continued with a refreshing walk through the Hegarmanah block model. During the walk, we provided detailed explanations about the block model and its unique features. Known for its commitment to sustainable and high-quality tea production, Hegarmanah serves as a tea modelling block that exemplifies the Japanese techniques in the industry. This visit allows customer representatives to gain insight into the meticulous processes behind Indonesia’s black tea production, from the careful cultivation of tea leaves to the precision of our in-house processing methods.

Then, the team was given an exclusive look into the factory operations, where traditional expertise is combined with modern advancements to ensure each batch of tea upholds the highest standards of quality and flavor. They explored six sections of the factory, each representing a step in the tea processing journey: withering, milling, drying, sorting, packing, and quality control. With Indonesia’s tea industry gaining international recognition, this collaboration is a testament to the shared goals of innovation, sustainability, and excellence in tea production. Our customer’s visit marks a promising step towards reinforcing Indonesia’s place in the global tea market and exploring future collaborations aimed at bringing the best of Indonesian tea to the world.
